A few reminders on our changes for the well-being of students and teachers:
Preregistration is required as we have reduced our capacity to 8 people per class.
The studio will be open ~15 minutes before class and close 10 minutes after to allow our teachers time for extra cleaning. If the door is locked - they may still be switching and cleaning between classes, the safety of our teachers and students is our number one priority!
The yoga room floor is marked for 6+ feet apart between mats - please only place your mats in the designated spaces, with the center of your mat lining up behind our votives.
No towels, mats, or props will be available for rent or borrow.
Please arrive fully changed and ready for class with a full water bottle.
We will be disinfecting common surfaces and running a UV air purifier between classes.
Masks are requested in the lobby and hallway, but once you are on your mat you may remove them for practice.
Please also wear your mask off your mat as you exit post practice.
If you feel ill or are of questionable health, please stay home. The CDC recommends that you quarantine yourself for a period of 14 days if you experience symptoms or have close contact with someone who has fallen ill.
Wear comfortable clothing.
Please refrain from chewing gum or wearing strong perfume.
We encourage students to bring their own yoga mat and towel; however, mats and mat towels are available to rent for $2 each.
Glasses and water are available, but we strongly encourage you to bring your own water bottle and to hydrate before class.
Restrooms are available, but we do not have showers.
Please silence phones and watches when you come in to New Dawn - no phones are allowed in the yoga room unless pre-approved by instructor.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for class. Doors will be locked 2 minutes prior to class start time.
New Students are required to sign a waiver prior to participating in their first class - this can be done online with pre-registration or at the studio. If you are coming to the studio for your first time without pre-registering online please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Please refrain from any talking in the yoga room - if you'd like to converse with your friends, please keep it out in the lobby.
We take pride in keeping our yoga studio a safe and comfortable environment for all. We do not allow soliciting of any kind, whether it be sales, services, or contact information. Please be respectful of those here to practice, and those who are here to teach.
Our teachers love what they do, but please be aware they might have somewhere to be after class. We request all students depart within 10 minutes of class ending unless previously approved by the teacher leading the class.
Class Payment and Cancellation
Students are responsible for timely payment. You are expected to pay for class before the start of class time. If you're coming for a drop-in, or need to purchase a new class pass, please arrive early for class, or purchase online through our Mind Body Online site.
If a student has a delinquent account balance of more than two classes, they will not be admitted to the class without prior consent from an owner or manager.
If you've signed up online and cannot make class, please email us or cancel your registration online prior to class starting.
If we cancel class due to weather, instructor illness, or availability, we will post on Facebook, and cancel said class on our Mind Body Online site.
Special Conditions & Injuries
Anyone with series medical conditions or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in a yoga class. We encourage you to listen to your body and take any necessary props or modifications to guarantee a safe practice. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries prior to the start of class. We do offer private sessions if you're unsure how to modify for your body, or are working with a previous injury.
Any student under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver.
Our classes are designed for students 16 years of age and older. Students under 16 years of age may attend classes when a parent or guardian is in attendance for the same class providing they want to attend the class and participate.
